Wir bauen eine Schulgarten   -   Building our school garden

Since the beginning of this spring we have enjoyed the earth element in our school a lot!

We decided to change our school garden  according to the ideas of teachers, pupils, parents and other interested people after a year of inventing, discussion and preparation.

We asked everybody to come and help and to bring some remaining plants and building material.  The teacher  Gabriela Přikrylová prepared an illustrative map to show how the garden should look like and what to do.

In the pictures you can see various tasks we have been  fulfilling :

1)     Cutting old bushes and trees, producing mulch

2)    Preparation and planting the slope, building stairs

3)    Compost, building vegetable beds and  a „snail flower bed“  for herbs

4)    Building „insect houses“

5)    Modification of terrain

6)    Planting a small grove of trees and nature trails

7)    Building of „tactile pavement“

8)    ...and the picture 065 shows the place where the „outside classroom“ is going to be build…

We have had nice days full of work, cooperation and fun and we hope „the show will go on“

Kinder der Schule in Sumperk haben sich in diesem Frühling mit dem Element Erde beschäftigt.
Dabei kam die Idee auf, einen Schulgarten zu planen und anzulegen.
Lehrer, Schüler, Eltern und andere interessierte Menschen kamen und halfen. Sei brachten Pflanzen und Baumaterial.
Lehrerin Gabriela Priklylova hat eine Karte vorbereitet, so wie der Garten einmal aussehen soll.
